SHIPPING INFORMATION

What Shipping Methods Are Available?

We use FedEx for live shipments.  All shipments are sent Overnight Priority which means they will arrive at your local hub by 8:30AM or to your door by 10:30AM unless you live in a more rural location, in which case they should arrive by noon.

How Much Is Shipping?

Shipping via FedEx Overnight Priority is included in orders totaling $500 or more (excluding larger animals).  For orders totaling less than $500, shipping is typically in the $35-$50 range, but please contact us for an exact shipping rate.  

Do You Ship Internationally?

At this point in time we only ship to the lower 48 states.  We can ship to Canada and Puerto Rico.  Any vet exam fees, customs fees, etc. will be the responsibility of the customer and must be paid before a shipping label will be created.  All fees are non-refundable.

Do You Offer Local Pickup?

We do offer local pickup in the Hampton Roads area.  If interested in picking up your animal(s), we will gladly arrange a time and location to meet and conduct the sale.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

We accept most methods of payment.  Upon order acceptance we will email you an invoice with a link to PayPal or Square where you can pay make your payment, even if you do not have a PayPal or Square account.  We can also accept credit or debit cards over the phone.  Additionally, we accept checks, cash, money orders, and wire transfers.  Regardless of the method of payment, we will not print a shipping label until the funds have cleared.

Do You Offer Payment Plans?

We offer payment plans on purchases over $500.  No animals or merchandise will be shipped until the purchase is paid in full and all funds have cleared.  See our Terms of Sale for more information. 

On many occasions, PayPal will offer 0% interest on purchases over $99.  

ORDERS AND RETURNS

How Do I Place An Order?

There are several ways to shop our current inventory of animals.  The easiest way to see everything that we have available for sale is to check out our Current Availability List (click here).  This list is kept current and displays all animals that are available for sale.  Another option for placing an order is to use the Shop heading at the top of this web page where you can filter your search based on genetics, gender, size, and year produced.  

Regardless of how you decide to shop, you will ultimately end up with a shopping cart with all of the items that you selected.  We currently do not take payments directly through our website, so once you submit your information we will follow up by sending you an invoice with a link to make payment.  You will generally receive the invoice within 1 to 2 hours of placing your order on our website.  Keep in mind, all sales are first come first served.  We will not hold an animal for you until we have received a deposit or payment.

Do You Offer Refunds?

We do not offer refunds unless we could not provide you with the exact animal that you purchased (i.e. you put a deposit down on a hatchling that subsequently died).  If for some reason you receive the animal and within 48 hours notify us of a health concern with the animal and we concur with your findings, we will provide a refund after receiving the animal back.  We will cover return shipping in those cases.  If you pay for an animal and then decide not to go through with the transaction, we will not offer a refund but will instead credit your payment towards the purchase of another animal.

How Do I Track My Order?

After making payment and agreeing on a delivery date, you will receive an email from us with the tracking number.  You can click the link in the email to get updates on your package.  You may also log in to your account on our website to view your order history and track your shipments (click here).  Lastly, you can also visit our website and key in your order information to track your shipment (click here).  Packages may also be tracked directly on the Fedex website.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Do you accept trades?

Yes, but only if we will be receiving animals that fit into our breeding plans.  We will not conduct a trade simply to get rid of an animal or make a sale.  Please take this into consideration before offering us a trade. 

Also, we will only ship first if we initiated the trade.  If you plan on proposing a trade to us, please be aware that unless we have had a previous (and positive) transaction with you we will require you to ship your animal(s) to us first, at your expense.  Upon receiving the animal and giving it a clean bill of health, we will ship our animal(s) to you at our expense.
